Something for the holidays

Long gone are those days of wearing something skimpy and delicate on those festive nights out. Nowadays I try to make the most out of a warm, cosy look to enjoy festive celebrations and that doesn’t have to mean looking like you’re on an aprés ski night out. I have gathered together the perfect accessories and fitted knitwear to keep me warm yet evening ready this holiday season. I hope you feel inspired.

Jacquemus : La Maille Pablo ribbed-knit wool sweater

I have always had a soft spot for Jacquemus structure and tailoring, however this structured ribbed knit wool sweater takes the prize as one of my favourite Jacquemus pieces to date. So naturally this is what I will be wearing this holiday season.

Vetements : Lighter-heel sock ankle boots

A little (im)practical season appropriate sparkly footwear from Vetements. Not to mention one incredibly comfortable pair of heels and rather perfect to navigate your way across the snow dance floor.

Marni : Trunk medium striped-leather shoulder bag

I’ve had my eye on this Marni shoulder bag for quite some time now but this beautiful woven leather detailing on the bag finally sealed the deal for me.

Charlotte Chesnais : Egg large hair clip

This sober festive outfit is complete with a bold modern hair piece from Charlotte Chesnais.

I would complete this look with a pair of navy-blue cigarette pants and a touch of red lipstick and red nails.
