Who needs summer?
“Summer! A trip away!” The inspiration for our selections, suggested Natalie. I, however, chose to be inspired to not follow the subject, as I browsed online shops and found more items that I liked were for less-warmer times. Despite not really being on the subject I’m very happy with my selection!
J.W.Anderson High-neck denim jacket
I happened across this strange piece when it was photographed with something else. The neck part especially intrigued me. Natalie has a denim coat and it looks pretty cool, so I figured I could maybe look into getting one as well at some time. It works well open during Summer times, and having a light coat when it cools and threatens rain.
Lemaire Stand-collar stretch-cotton shirt
We really enjoy checking out the Lemaire shop at Rue de Poitou (last time we were admiring the white-painted floor and wondering if we could do something like that in our place) and I’ve always admired the well-refined style the house portrays. This shirt appealed to me as it’s crisp, clean, and in a non-common colour.
Acne Studios Abram slim-leg cotton-blend trousers
Well, if I am to wear any trousers in Summer, it pays to have some form of cotton in there. I have a pair of slim dusky pink wool crop trousers which fit super nice, so it pays to go back to the brands that suit one’s shape the best.
Burberry Asymmetric grained-leather brogues
When Natalie and I were browsing the flooded tourists streets of Venice, we happened upon the Burberry window and I saw these amazing — even experimental — asymmetric wingtip brogues. I’m not one for formal shoes, but when they do something trippy like this, then I’m all for it.
