For Him, Style

New Year’s Party Digs

Ringing in the new year requires some application of style when at the pub with friends, and then standing outside in the cold watching fireworks (if the weather’s good!).

We’ve been looking at some great formal shoes recently, and I’m always impressed by Church’s quality and design. The wingtip brogues are a classic style of formal shoe with some showy differences to the standard fare.

Acne Studios are a consistently whacky kinda fashion brand, but I really enjoy the staples they do, plus Acne jeans are always good quality. This item has no particular twisty characteristics, aside from coming from a twisty whacky kinda brand.

I know nothing about Massimo Alba, but I chose this shirt because I like the colour and I like the fact that it was a shirt unlike the thousand other look-alike shirts.

The bomber is a classic style (nowadays) but I like that McQ Alexander McQueen put a twist by making it out of jersey, and making it less “bomber” than bombers usually are. It’s nice and subtle.
