Christmas in Scotland
We’re heading back to Scotland for Christmas and New Year, so I’m thinking something warm and something cool, with a nod to the traditional mixed with the unexpected.
Thom Browne’s always impressed me with his design and sense, so choosing a piece from him was easy. I went the big knit as it’s reminiscent of the UK tradition of knitted Christmas sweaters, however I really hate the Christmas season! So here’s a knit with a sausage dog on it, paired with some snazzy checked Maison Margiela trousers, just to ensure the textures and patterns of my outfit are fully maxed out.
Maybe the peach (technically “sand”) coloured perforated shoes aren’t practical for the Scottish winter, but I’m hoping to be more cosy and warm inside next to a fire reading this immense tome of a book collecting Dennis Hopper’s photography with drug-store cameras.
