She Said He Said, Shoes, Style

Consider This …

footwear that puts a spring in your step ! It does really exist and it only means one thing; I am one step skip closer to my exercise regime, right !?

I never thought I would add Nike trainers to my sartorial repertoire but Matt put forward a good case that made a lot of sense. “Shoes for running around the city, that were affordable and weren’t too precious” (so it doesn’t matter if you get them a little scruffy or step in dog poo(come on this is Paris)).

I was finally convinced – it took a few months but then I saw how my precious Grensons were getting worn down and my favourite model is now permanently out of stock. So, it was time to buy something that was a little more … “disposable”. Not usually a way I shop but it seemed to finally make sense.

I, of course, had a strict list of criteria for the trainers I would buy:

Must be all black
Must be comfortable
Must have a platform sole
Must be under £40
Must not look like I am running around the city wearing trainers (because, how uncool)

I think I found the balance with these Nike Air Max|All Black trainers. I took the grey Nike Air Max tag that was stitched onto the tongue, minimal branding is what I like best – shame about all the other branding covering the shoe though.

Best of all though, like I said they really do put a spring in my step – which means I can get around the city quicker while simultaneously fooling myself into thinking I’m pretty fit. So, if you were like me and didn’t believe in investing in a comfortable pair of trainers then maybe I can help you think again.
